1 Displaced In Fremont ​House Fire

The American Red Cross is providing temporary shelter for the resident.

FREMONT, CA — One person was displaced after a fire broke out in a Fremont residence Friday evening.

The fire was reported just before 6 p.m. in the 4800 block of Central Avenue, according to the Fremont Fire Department.

Nobody was injured in the blaze, which was contained to the one-story single-family residence where it started. The home's occupant was able to escape before firefighters arrived.
