FREMONT, Calif. — Fremont Police are investigating a disturbing discovery at the Centerville Train Station, where two decapitated and eviscerated animals were found Sunday afternoon.
Around 2:30 p.m. on April 13, AMTRAK Police contacted Fremont officers after someone reported a mutilated animal on a park bench at the station. Officers responded and confirmed the presence of a decapitated animal, although the species could not be immediately determined.
Nearby, officers located several bags next to the bench. Inside one of the bags was a second decapitated animal, and another contained what appeared to be animal entrails, according to police.
