Firefighters to Hold Emergency Preparedness Classes

Each three-hour class will teach attendees about preparing for earthquakes and other disasters

The Fremont Fire Department’s free Personal Emergency Preparedness class is specifically designed to help residents prepare for a disaster and to take care of themselves and their families before, during, and after a disaster. 

In just one three-hour class, you will learn about:

  1. Earthquake and disaster awareness
  2. Gas, electric, and water shut off
  3. Hazardous material awareness
  4. Fire extinguisher types
  5. Smoke detector placement
  6. Sheltering in-place

Attend just one PEP class that works with your schedule.

Classes are held from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Fremont Fire Training Tower, 7200 Stevenson Blvd. on the following dates:
