FREMONT, CA — Enjoy a free concert in Fremont's Central Park Thursday evening, as the city kicks off its Summer Concert Series with a performance by CCsegeR.
The band bills itself on its website as a "6-piece band (that) gives a high-energy live performance of two amazing tribute bands in one. We take audiences on a ride through the rock and roll classics of Seger and CCR that drives crowds of all ages to the dance floor."
The concert will be held at the Central Park Performance Pavilion, next to 40204 Paseo Padre Parkway, from 6 to 8 p.m. Be advised that the parking lots near the concert venue typically fill up by 5 p.m., so arrive early if you want a good spot. BBQs are not allowed in concert venue area. Bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket, snacks and water.
Lake Elizabeth provides a beautiful backdrop for the shows.

There will be five more concerts on Thursdays this summer.
Event sponsors are Washington Hospital Healthcare System and Niles Rotary.
