Grand Menorah Lighting In Fremont Sunday

The celebration includes LED robot dancers, face painting, a craft corner, a photo booth, food and beverages, and more.

FREMONT, CA — Chabad of Fremont Jewish Center will host the 12th Annual Chanukah Lighting festivities starting at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, at the Downtown Event Center Plaza, 3500 Capitol Ave.

The celebration includes a Giant Balloon Menorah, craft corner, LED robot dancers, face painting, hot drinks, piñatas, donuts, hot dogs, soup, and a photo booth.

The Menorah Lighting is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.

Chanukah is the Jewish eight-day, wintertime “festival of lights,” celebrated with a nightly menorah lighting, special prayers and fried foods. It began Christmas Day and continues through Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025.
