HERS Breast Cancer Foundation's 26th Annual Walk/Run/Yoga Fundraiser & Community Expo is Saturday, September 27th!

Calling all walkers, runners, yoga lovers, and anyone wishing to support under-served breast cancer patients and survivors!
HERS Breast Cancer Foundation will hosts its 26th Annual Walk/Run/Yoga Fundraiser & Community Expo on Saturday, September 27th at Quarry Lakes Regional Park in Fremont. Proceeds will benefit the Foundation's assistance programs which provide low income, under-insured, and uninsured breast cancer patients and survivors with post-surgical products and services.
Whether you're a die-hard runner, love a peaceful walk, or prefer the serene practice of yoga, this event so much to offer. And as if you need more reason to join HERS, this year's fundraiser will have an event-wide theme: WESTERN! So get out your pink cowboy hats, jingle-jangles, and rhinestones and join us for a morning of what the "HERS" in the Foundation's name represents: Hope, Empowerment, Renewal, and Support

Registrants may choose from a 5k walk, timed 5k or 10k run, or all-levels outdoor yoga. For those with a group of five or more who choose to join us in costume, our super secret judges will be on the lookout and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Group Costume Contest trophies will be awarded after walkers and runners return. And groups of 20 or more will receive a group discount!
Registration benefits include a commemorative Western-themed t-shirt, finishers medal, bib, and a meal, and all registrants will be automatically entered to win amazing prizes, including items donated by American Licorice of Union City, Bill's Cafe, Chick-fil-A (Mowry Avenue), Niles Sweets & Ice Cream, and HERS Breast Cancer Foundation.

Kids entertainment includes face-painting and of course our morning will kick off with Elaine's Circle for patients and survivors, a Bollywood dance warmup led by Shameem Z., and a light breakfast sponsored by Fremont's Banter Books.
Long-time HERS supporter Dutra Enterprises will provide a barbecue lunch and Dunkin' Donuts Community Cruiser will be on site serving up delicious beverages!
And speaking of "Community," this event will once again feature Community Expo with exhibitors representing our sponsors plus healthcare representatives, community organizations, nonprofits, and local businesses.
