Murder Mystery High Tea: A Killer Afternoon at oh Chai!

On a sun-kissed June 1st afternoon, something deliciously wicked brewed at oh Chai! and it wasn’t just the tea. Guests stepped into a scene straight out of an Agatha Christie novel, as we hosted our immersive and unforgettable Murder Mystery High Tea, The Last Sip.

With delicate teacups in hand and clues tucked into conversation, guests played detectives, suspects, and silent observers in an original whodunnit set in a cozy backyard setting. The air was steeped with suspense, laughter, and the scent of cardamom and intrigue.

🕵️‍♀️ The Plot Thickened...

Our guests were invited to play one of twelve scandalously delightful characters - all connected to the mysterious and untimely death of Isabelle Thornton, a powerful tea baroness with more than a few secrets steeping. From betrayed goddaughters to jilted assistants and secretive sommeliers, everyone had motive… and everyone had something to hide.

🍰 Tea, Treats & Twists

Between dramatic revelations and whispered alibis, guests indulged in unlimited high tea delights. Think masala chai, cardamom cakes, savory bites and sandwiches that were as decadent as the drama. With each course, a new twist unfolded, and suspicions shifted like leaves in the wind.
