Person Killed By BART Train In Fremont

One of the stations was closed during the evening commute.

FREMONT, CA — A person died after being by a train at BART's Warm Springs station on Thursday, BART officials said.

The station was closed shortly before 5 p.m. after reports that someone was on the tracks and had been hit.

BART police responded and said there's no indication of foul play in the death, said BART spokesperson Chris Filippi said.

BART officials haven't released any information about the person who died, or how they accessed the tracks.

The station reopened about 8:30 p.m.
