Posted April 2: Police are searching for an elderly man who has been deemed missing and was last seen on Decoto Road near Fremont Boulevard, officials said.

Here's the alert from the Fremont Police Department:

Missing Person John Springfield Black Male Adult 66 Years of age 5'06" 140lbs, Black hair, Brown Eyes, Last seen in the area of Decoto Rd. and Fremont Bl., wearing a Light Brown jacket with dark shoulder patches and camouflage pants. Suffers from a medical condition. If seen call 911.
