That Smell on Glenmoore Drive Was 2,000 Marijuana Plants
Police seize pot from Fremont building Friday after PG&E tips them off to some unusual power usage there.

Police seized approximately 2,000 marijuana plants from a building in Fremont on Friday.
PG&E had gone to a building located in the 37500 block of Glenmoor Drive and found that power to the building had been bypassed, police said.

Fremont police responded and observed a strong smell of marijuana coming from inside the building.
A search warrant was requested and served, resulting in the confiscation of about 2,000 marijuana plants, police said.

Two suspects found hiding inside the building were arrested in connection with the grow operation, police said.
