Tri-City Health Center Appoints Permanent CEO

The Tri City Health Center started the new year with a leadership transitional period by appointing Dr. Page as Interim Chief Executive Officer (ICEO) with the goal of ensuring management stability, organizational assessment and initiating transformational progress.

A national CEO recruitment effort was launched under the oversight of The Health Resources and Services Administration for the selection of the permanent CEO.

After reviewing and screening nearly 30 applications, the TCHC Board of Directors, supported by the TCHC Executive Team and an Executive Recruitment Professional, conducted two rounds of interviews of experienced Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) Chief Executive Officers.

After a meticulous and thoughtful process, Zettie D. Page, III, M.D., Ph.D. has been selected as the new CEO of TCHC.

Dr. Page has over 20 years of experience working with FQHCs and recently served as CEO for Salud Para La Gente in Watsonville, CA, which provides services across a three county area, where he led organizational expansion from 13 to 23 service sites, strengthened governance through direct training and recruitment efforts, revised the strategic plan, and implemented the electronic health record system.

Dr. Page holds a doctorate in general medicine and social work. He also holds three Masters Degrees in Health Education, Business Administration, Social Work and is a retired military colonel. 

The TCHC team looks forward to working with Dr. Page and staying true to our mission during the upcoming health care reform. The Board of Directors is confident that he will bring sound leadership, financial stability and assured direction for TCHC.
