$15K Grant Available For Gilroy Artists To Paint Mural

GILROY, CA — Gilroy artists are encouraged to apply for a $15,000 grant to construct a mural for the exterior of the 6th Street Studios & Art Center.

The mural, presented by Blue Shield of California, is expected to “reflect the values of the local community while showcasing its diverse culture,” according to the website.

Artists working with youth groups who live or work in Gilroy, and local non-profit arts organizations are invited to apply.

The application deadline is Dec. 3 and the expected project completion date is Jan. 31.
