SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — More than a half-dozen new brunch spots recently set up shop in the Bay Area, including a pair of mouthwatering additions in the South Bay.
The Mercury News broke down the latest crowdpleasers this week and highlighted the Italian-inspired weekend brunch menu at San Jose's Rollati Ristorante.
Sitting right across from City Hall, students, theatergoers and weekend revelers can grab a bite of Rollati's prosciutto-forward eggs Florentine, order a piece of the "thousand layer" lasagna, or indulge in the Nutella-stuffed "Italian Toast," all noted among the Mercury's standouts. A pizza adorned with pancetta and fried egg makes up the "Breakfast Pie."
