6 Pounds Of Meth Found During Morgan Hill Traffic Stop: Police
Police recovered six pounds of methamphetamine, along with other drugs, during a traffic stop earlier this month.
MORGAN HILL, CA — A traffic stop on Oct. 21 led to the arrest of a driver after Morgan Hill police found several pounds of suspected narcotics in the vehicle, authorities said.
Around 11:14 p.m., an officer stopped a car for multiple vehicle code violations, according to the Morgan Hill Police Department.
During the stop, the officer determined the driver's license was suspended due to a prior DUI and that the driver was in possession of drugs, police said.

A search of the vehicle uncovered about 6 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, 5.4 ounces of suspected cocaine, and 1.57 ounces of suspected heroin, along with evidence of drug sales, authorities noted.
The driver was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail on multiple narcotics-related offenses.
