MORGAN HILL, CA — California firefighters on a heightened state of alert leading into the one-year anniversary of the state's deadliest, most destructive wildfire in history are jumping all over any potential threats.

Case in point, a tiny brush fire that broke out at midday outside Morgan Hill near Condit Avenue Saturday was quickly put out before it ever received a name by Cal Fire, which officials characterize as "a spot."

Nonetheless, Condit Avenue was temporarily closed at 11:41 a.m. between East Dunne and Main avenues for firefighting operations under @CAL_FIRE command.
