Heroin Tossed During Vehicle Stop

Police arrested two men in Gilroy on Thursday after reportedly witnessing one toss heroin out the car window during a vehicle stop, according to the Gilroy Police Department.

The passenger, who had a warrant out for his arrest, allegedly had a “concealed fixed-blade dagger,” police said.

During the vehicle stop on Chestnut Street, police said they saw the driver toss two small bags of heroin out the window of the 1991 Lexus 250.

Taken into custody were the 34-year-old driver, Jesus Arturo Quijada-Carillo, and his passenger, 63-year-old Theodore Hernandez Gonzalez.
