Gas Leak Closes Streets In Morgan Hill; Shelter In Place Order Issued, Police Say

SOUTH BAY, CA -- An ongoing gas leak in Morgan Hill has resulted in an area being temporarily closed, according to police.

The Morgan Hill Police Department says the gas leak is located in the area of Church and Mast streets, and that Church Street is closed from San Pedro Avenue to Barrett Avenue.

Police say to avoid the area, and that residents and business in the area are asked to shelter in place.

Both the MHPD and Morgan Hill Fire Department are said to be on scene.
