Gilroy PD Rolls Out New Community Feedback Tool
A new survey tool will allow residents to share thoughts after interactions with police and share general feedback about the department.
GILROY, CA — The Gilroy Police Department this week unveiled a new community feedback system designed to help neighbors share their experiences following interactions with officers.
The "My90" tool was developed by Axon, the maker of Taser and several lines of police body cameras, and allows community members to complete surveys after certain types of calls. Residents can also provide general feedback at any time by scanning a QR code shared on the department's Facebook page.
"Community members can use My90 to provide valuable input, while maintaining their privacy," the police department wrote Sunday. "My90 will provide us with the valuable feedback to better understand our impact in the community and determine what is working well and what needs extra attention."
