Gilroy Physician Competes In Food Network Show

GILROY, CA — A Gilroy physician and mother will compete on a Food Network show airing Thursday, according to the Gilroy Dispatch.
Dr. C.C. Weaver, who is also a part-time baker and has a lifestyle blog, will participate in the network’s “Christmas Cookie Challenge”— a competition to bake the best holiday cookies.
The winner, chosen by judges, gets a $10,000 prize.

Weaver learned to bake from her grandmother, according to the Dispatch. She has three children and practices family medicine that serves Santa Cruz, Santa Clara and Monterey counties.
