Laptops Stolen from Gilroy School — Again

Pacific West Christian Academy lost five computers last week.

A handful of Hewlett Packard laptops were taken from a classroom at Pacific West Christian Academy in the middle of last week, Gilroy Police told Patch.

The computers, valued at about $5,000, were in a room that had laptops stolen from it once before, Sgt. Pedro Espinoza said.

Sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning, the eletronics disappeared, but there was no sign of forced entry into the room.

"Either the door was left unlocked or someone with access to the room took the computers," Espinoza said.

The laptops have not yet been found, but fingerprints were lifted from the room.
