Man Arrested, Accused Of Theft Charges In Morgan Hill
The man is being accused of taking a woman's purse from a counter and fraudulently using her credit cards, Morgan Hill Police contends.
MORGAN HILL, CA -- A man was arrested in connection with a purse snatching from earlier this week, the Morgan Hill Police Department contends.
A detective identified John Soto as the suspect who stole a purse and used the victim's credit cards, police said. He even tried to cash a check at Bank of the West under her name.
A community member spotted Soto and thought he looked familiar. The person called police and once he was contacted, and his identity was verified. He was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail.
