Man Found Dead After RV Catches Fire In Gilroy

Police said a man's body was found inside burnt RV after a large fire Thursday morning in Gilroy.

GILROY, CA — A man died Thursday morning after flames ripped through an RV and house in Gilroy.

Police and fire crews rushed the scene on Rosanna Street at 6:30 a.m., finding an RV and nearby residence engulfed by flames, officials said. First responders evacuated neighbors due to safety concerns.

In an update shared Thursday evening, investigators said the man's body was discovered inside the RV after firefighters extinguished the blaze. Detectives are working with arson investigators to determine the fire's cause, and the victim's name has not been formally released.
