The 2 a.m. call indicated the 2007 Dodge Charger driven by Yuridia Jiminez, 30, of San Jose spun out when she swerved to miss debris and lost control of the vehicle south of Metcalf Road. The vehicle was partially blocking the traffic lanes and would not restart, CHP added.
The man, whose identity has not been released yet, came upon the scene and hit the right front of the Dodge with his 2007 Suzuki GSX R-1000. The force of the crash ejected him from the bike and onto the northbound traffic lanes. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Jiminez, who was deemed to not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, was transported to Regional Medical Center of San Jose.
