SAN MARTIN, CA — Cal Fire and the South Santa Clara County, Morgan Hill, Gilroy and San Jose fire departments are responding to a two-alarm fire in San Martin, according to the Cal Fire Command Center. The fire was reported at 12:54 p.m., said Command Center spokeswoman Pam Cemmermand. It is burning in a single-story residential structure, although the location could not immediately be confirmed. There are no reports of any injuries at this time. It is unknown how many people will be displaced or for how long. Eight engines were involved in the process of fighting the fire as of 2:30 p.m., according to Temmermand. No further information was immediately available.
