The city’s Housing and Neighborhood Revitalization Committee recommended that the council provide funds for only the top six applicants that it ranked: Live Oak Adult Day Services, Community Agency for Resources Advocacy and Services, Project Sentinel Inc., The Health Trust and St. Joseph’s Family Center — which had two separate projects.
But city staff recommended spreading out the funds throughout more public service organizations.
