Railroad Crossing Arms Repaired In Gilroy After Malfunction

GILROY, CA — The railroad crossing arms at a busy Gilroy intersection malfunctioned on Thursday evening, leading to traffic delays.

The intersection of Monterey Road and East 10th Street saw “heavy traffic and delays” around 2:30 p.m., according to the Gilroy Police Department. Maintenance crews arrived to help repair the arms.

Repairs were made by 7:30 p.m. and traffic was back to normal.
