SAN JOSE, Calif. –March 3, 2022-- Rotarians of Rotary District 5170 (www.rotarydistrict5170.org) will host a Reception and Program in celebration of “International Women’s Day”, (www.internationalwomensday.com) a national holiday recognized globally, on Sunday, March 13, 2022.

“I am passionate about finding ways we can inspire and support girls to pursue careers as leaders, particularly in tech,” said Aparna Bawa, Chief Operation Officer of Zoom Video Communications, Inc. “I look forward to coming together with Ahmad, Sal, the Rotarians, and the San Jose community to celebrate International Women’s Day,” she added.
“We are excited to celebrate International Women’s Day as women in Rotary in our district, and all over the world, bring a breadth of professional experience and foster mentorship and most of all, the importance of volunteering and making the world a better place,” said Richard Flanders, District Governor, Rotary District 5170.
EVENT DETAILS
The event will kick off with a cocktail hour and Rotary Club’s showcasing their community and global projects.
In addition, the program will host a lively panel discussion moderated by Sal Pizarro, columnist for the San Jose Mercury News.

They will share their experience and views of the future for women in leadership and

A Q&A will follow the panel discussion for audience participation.
