South Bay Man Arrested For Alleged Possession Of Large Amount Of Meth In Morgan Hill
Police arrested a San Jose man in Morgan Hill for allegedly possessing about 1.5 ounces of methamphetamine, with a street value of $2,000.
SOUTH BAY, CA -- Police arrested a San Jose man Saturday night in Morgan Hill for allegedly possessing narcotics, police said.
According to Morgan Hill police, officers stopped a vehicle on Murphy Avenue on April 15. One of the occupants, identified as 44-year-old Salvador Heredia of San Jose, had multiple warrants, and was allegedly in possession of about 1.5 ounces of methamphetamine, which had an estimated street value of about $2,000. He also had scales, baggies and other indicia indicating narcotics sales, police said.
Heredia was arrested and booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for the warrants and on suspicion of narcotics offenses, police said.
