Student Stabbed In High School Fight, 1 Arrested: Police
Police said a boy stabbed another boy during a fight inside the locker room of a Gilroy high school.
GILROY, CA — A locker room fight at Gilroy's Christopher High School ended with one student hospitalized with stab wounds and another under arrest, according to police.
Police said a fight started between two boys shortly before noon Wednesday, and one boy pulled out a knife and stabbed the other. A school resource officer intervened and held the stabbing suspect until more police arrived. Investigators said the victim received treatment from medics at the scene and was taken to the hospital for further care.
School leaders placed the high school in a "code blue" lockdown for an hour while detectives investigated the scene. The student accused in the stabbing was placed under arrest and taken to juvenile hall.
