Injury Crash On Hwy 101 In Gilroy

GILROY, CA -- Highway 101 is not the road to travel on this morning. Motorists can expect delays on the northbound side of the major thoroughfare in Gilroy because of an injury crash north of Monterey Highway, the California Highway Patrol reported at 8:20 a.m.

The left lane is blocked, with no estimated time of reopening.

Adding to the commute issues farther north, there's another accident on northbound U.S. Highway 101 north of Cochrane Road in Morgan Hill where the right shoulder is blocked and drivers will find slow going through the region.

More from 511.org, another injury crash was reported at 8:51 a.m. on the southbound side of U.S. Highway 101 north of Bernal Road in San Jose as well as an obstruction blocking the southbound lanes south of Hellyer Avenue.

Also in that metro area, debris is located in the roadway farther north on the southbound side of the Thursday morning-plagued highway just north of Interstate 880.
