3 Can't-Miss Events This Weekend: New Tasting Room, Wine and Chocolate, Russian Tea

A look at what's happening this weekend in Healdsburg.

There's always a lot to drink, taste and smell in Healdsburg, and this weekend is no exception. Here are three events happening this weekend:

1. New tasting room opens - 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

Alameda-based Rosenblum Cellars, which boasts 20 different kinds of Zinfandel, will hold a grand opening for its new Healdsburg tasting room. The event will feature live music, sales, $5 tastings, and will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 18 Matheson St. All attendees must be 21 or older. 

2. Russian Tea and Fragrance Festival - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

A Russian violinist will perform, tealeaves will be read, rose sorbet will be made, and rose water and rose oil mist will be sampled at the Russian Tea and Fragrance Festival. The garden and nursery will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday for the festival at the Russian River Rose Company, 1685 Magnolia Dr.

3. Wine and chocolate pairings - 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

Amista Vineyards in Healdsburg is pairing two popular treats: wine and chocolate. Amista provides the wine and Coco Tutti provides the chocolate. The tasting fee is $10 and is waived with purchase. Amista Vineyards is located at 3320 Dry Creek Road.
