7 South American Organized Crime Network Members Arrested
The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office reports that this group travels the country, mostly targeting Asian business owners.
WINDSOR, CA — Sonoma County sheriff's deputies arrested seven members of what they say is a South American organized crime network known for traveling across the country and mainly targeting Asian business owners.
At about 5:30 p.m. Friday, sheriff's dispatch received reports of a burglary in progress at a home in the 500 block of Chablis Drive in Windsor.
Responding deputies found evidence of forced entry, along with surveillance footage capturing three suspects in the house and one suspect driving a vehicle.

The Sheriff's Office said these groups operate with a high level of sophistication, often using disguises, surveillance cameras, and other covert tactics to monitor their victims for extended periods.
With assistance from Santa Rosa police, detectives identified a suspect vehicle linked to the burglary and a residence in the 900 block of Baird Road in Santa Rosa where the suspects were staying.

Detectives served a search warrant at the home Saturday. All the occupants attempted to flee or hide as law enforcement entered, but they were apprehended. During the search, investigators found multiple pieces of evidence related to the burglary.
Deputies arrested Jeisson Gonzalez-Munoz, 40, of Los Angeles; Brandon Ruez, 24, of Los Angeles; Jeison Nieto-Rodriguez, 49, of Los Angeles (who had a felony warrant out of Orange County); Jeisson Rodriguez Solaque, 27, of Chico; Nicolas Duran Cetina, 21, of Oakland; Stefany Nieto Preciado, 25, Los Angeles; and William Patino-Galindo, 22, a transient.
Each suspect was booked on suspicion of burglary-related offenses and is being held on $250,000 bail.
