Earthquake Shakes Northern Sonoma County

The quake was reported just before 5:30 a.m. Monday— Did YOU feel it?

SONOMA COUNTY, CA— A magnitude 3.2 earthquake was recorded Monday morning in far northeastern Sonoma County, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The quake struck at 5:22 a.m. Monday and was initially detected as a 4.1-magnitude earthquake but revised to 3.2, the USGS said.

The temblor was centered 4 miles northwest of The Geysers, 4 miles west of Cobb, 12 miles east of Cloverdale, around 24 miles northeast of Healdsburg, and some 27 miles north of Santa Rosa, the USGS said.

Monday morning's quake struck at a depth of 1.1 miles, officials said.

No injuries or damages were immediately reported.
