WILLITS, CA— A magnitude 3.4 earthquake struck north of Sonoma County at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The quake struck 4 miles outside of Willits, a city in Mendocino County.

It was felt in Willits, Potter Valley, Redwood Valley, Ukiah, Mendocino, Petaluma and Gold Hill, Oregon — more than 200 miles away from the epicenter, the USGS said.
