Guerneville Postmaster Lends Helping Hand Amid Holiday Shipping Rush

Postal customers were invited to stop in at the Guerneville Post Office for a meet-and-greet with their local postmaster, Cole Risley.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — The postmaster of a Sonoma County post office was set to offer a helping hand Tuesday in a meet-and-greet with the public amid the holiday shipping rush.

From noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, postal customers were invited to stop in at the Guerneville Post Office, 1o460 Mill St., and meet/get to know Guerneville Postmaster Cole Risley.

In the spirit of the holiday season, Risley was set to be in the lobby to offer any needed assistance with Postal products and services.

"The event will offer local businesses and residents an opportunity to interact with the Postmaster," said Kristina Uppal, a spokesperson for the U.S. Postal Service. "The holiday season is a great time of the year to show new and existing customers the U.S. Postal Service makes customer satisfaction priority number one."

The Postal Service is "built for the holidays," serving 165 million addresses across the country and covering every state, city and town, Uppal said.
