Healdsburg City Council Lifts Water Restrictions
Conservation will continue to be essential to help the groundwater aquifers recover, the city said.
HEALDSBURG, CA — The Healdsburg City Council voted April 3 in favor of lifting local drought-related water restrictions following actions taken in March by the state of California that lifted most emergency drought regulations.
According to the city, although Lake Sonoma and Lake Mendocino exceeded their storage targets, conservation will continue to be essential to help the groundwater aquifers recover.
"Recent years have shown how we can work together as a community to conserve water, which will be vital as we prepare and become more resilient for the next drought," city officials said.
