• Zip-Tied Crate of Puppies Abandoned On Healdsburg Roadside (patch.com) — Healdsburg police are investigating after eight puppies were abandoned in a zip-tied crate along busy West Side Road near Bacchus Landing, where heavy truck traffic posed a serious danger. Seven puppies were rescued and taken through the Healdsburg Animal Shelter to Sonoma County Animal Services, while Animal Control continues searching for the missing eighth pup and urges residents to use shelters, not roadside dumping, when rehoming pets.
