Healdsburg City Council To Vote Tonight On Increasing Foley Family Pavilion Project By $274,000.

Project on North Main pushed back to November.

HEALDSBURG, CA — The Healdsburg City Council will vote tonight on whether to increase the architects’ budget limit by nearly $274,000 for work on the Foley Family Community Pavilion, which was scheduled to open this summer.

The opening of the building at 3 North St. has been pushed to November, Healdsburg Community Services Director Mark Themig said.

The City Council authorized $1.57 million for the project to house the Healdsburg Farmers' Market and a community events facility.

The Foley Family Charitable Foundation is contributing $200,000 to pay for the added costs.

The Sept. 2 meeting of the Healdsburg City Council begins at 6 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chamber, 401 Grove St. The meeting is also available online.
