Healdsburg Makes Changes To Emergency Evacuation Zones
"We encourage all community members to take the time to look up their evacuation zones now —before an emergency occurs."

HEALDSBURG, CA — The city of Healdsburg announced updates Tuesday to the city's emergency evacuation zones.
Previously, the city established 41 zones that encompassed the entire community in the event of a large-scale emergency. Effective immediately, the previous 41 zones were consolidated into 13 zones, city officials said.
Further, all 13 evacuation zones now begin with an "HE" followed by a number. The "HE" differentiates the city of Healdsburg evacuation zones from surrounding County of Sonoma evacuation zones.

The new zones also incorporate community feedback and streamline the color scheme of the zones and boundaries, resulting in an easier-to-read map.
Community members can view zones and read their boundaries in English and in Spanish, as well as search by address to determine the location of their home and/or work zone(s). During an emergency, the city will update the interactive map to show which zones are under an evacuation order or warning.

"Knowing your zone and having an evacuation plan in place can be critical in ensuring your safety, and the safety of your loved ones."
