Healdsburg Man Dies In Colusa County Plane Crash
A dive team found the Healdsburg man and a Louisiana man dead in the wreckage.

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA — Colusa County sheriff's officials said Tuesday a Healdsburg man was killed in a plane crash south of Colusa early Monday afternoon. According to sheriff's officials, Jeffrey Thomas Webber, 66, and a Louisiana man died in the crash that occurred around 12:15 p.m. Monday.
The plane crashed in a water detention pond adjacent to flooded rice land in the Wescott Road area. Sheriff's deputies also found a badly wounded dog along a road at the crash site, the sheriff's office said.
A dive team found two dead men in the wreckage. Lionel J. Robin, 71, of Arnaudville, Louisiana also was killed in the crash.

The Federal Aviation Administration had reported a possible downed private plane occupied by two men and a dog two and a half miles south of Colusa, according to the sheriff's office.
The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash.
