Healdsburg Turkey Trot: Road Closures, What To Know

It wouldn't be Turkey Day in Healdsburg without the Turkey Trot. Here's what to know.

HEALDSBURG, CA — Turkey Day in Healdsburg equals Turkey Trot. To accommodate the ever-popular event, the following road closures will be in place:

  • Center Street, between North Street and Plaza Street
  • North Street, between Healdsburg Avenue and East Street

The road closures are from 4:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday or until the roadways are clear, the city's Community Services Department said.

What To Know

The Healdsburg Turkey Trot begins at 8 a.m. Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23, at Healdsburg Running Company, 333 Center St.

The 5K walk/run is hosted by the Rotary Club of Healdsburg Sunrise and the city of Healdsburg and is a benefit event for the Drew Esquivel Scholarship Foundation. The "Live Like Drew" scholarship helps Healdsburg High School scholar-athletes achieve their dream of attending college.

Prizes are given at random for the great costumes that have become a hallmark of this event.
