Man Stalked And Strangled Woman, Threatened Her Children: Sonoma County Sheriff
Police found a GPS tracker attached to the woman's vehicle, authorities said, adding when they pulled the man over, he had a gun.

WINDSOR, CA — A man faces several charges after he tried to strangle a woman, stalked her and threatened her children, according to Sonoma County authorities.
Timothy Wilbur, 46, was arrested Monday night in Windsor and booked into county jail on charges of felony domestic violence, stalking, possessing a loaded gun, possessing a gun in a vehicle and possessing a gun, according to authorities.
The woman told law enforcement last week that Wilbur tried to strangle her, placing his hands around her throat, authorities said.

In a follow-up interview Monday with the woman, deputies found a GPS tracker attached to her vehicle, according to authorities, who said Wilbur had been texting her that he knew where she was and threatening to harm her and her children.
Detectives found Wilbur’s vehicle around 10 p.m., made a traffic stop and took him into custody, police said, adding he had a loaded gun in a duffel bag.

His bail was set at $500,000 and he remained in custody Tuesday, according to police.
