Merry Healdsburg Tree Lighting Celebration: What To Know

HEALDSBURG, CA — 'Tis almost time for the annual Merry Healdsburg Tree Lighting Celebration.

The festivities take place from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at Healdsburg Plaza.

Bring the whole family to enjoy a winter wonderland downtown with complimentary carriage rides courtesy of Healdsburg Kiwanis, pictures with Santa Claus, live holiday music and performances, a holiday market and more. and a holiday market.

Schedule of Events

4 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.: New this year, vendors will line Matheson and Plaza streets for the Holiday Night Market. The public can browse and shop for a wide range of products such as jewelry, home goods, food and desserts, decorations, etc. A list of vendors is posted here.

6:30 p.m.: The lights are switched on for the season as the Tree Lighting Ceremony is held. Special musical guests, The Sugarplums, have captivated audiences nationwide with charming choreography, engaging interaction and sweet harmonies — and now they are in Healdsburg for the Tree Lighting Celebration.

6:45 p.m.-8:30 p.m.: Photos with Santa begin; bring the family downtown to capture merry memories!

Road Closures

The Healdsburg Community Services Department advised of road closures to accommodate this holiday event.

From noon to 11 p.m. Friday, Plaza Street is closed between Healdsburg Avenue and Center Street, and Matheson Street is closed between Healdsburg Avenue and Center Street.

From 4 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Friday, Plaza Street is closed between Center Street and East Street, and Center Street is closed between Matheson Street and North Street.
