SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Mark Calcagni, the man police found fatally shot on a roadway, was general manager of the famed adult entertainment Condor Club in San Francisco.

A motorist found Calcagni, 60, early Friday morning near the east side of the street in the 2200 block of Brookwood Avenue near Birdfoot Way in Santa Rosa.

Santa Rosa police said he had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives from the Santa Rosa Police Department's Violent Crime Team are investigating his death.

Calcagni worked as the general manager of the Condor for more than 12 years, according to his LinkedIn profile. He also managed the Vanity Night Club for BT California, LLC, according to his profile, described as a"strip club providing adult entertainment."
