Search For A Woman Missing Hiking On A Sonoma Coast Trail Suspended
Search suspended for a 47-year-old woman missing since Wednesday. The investigation has been turned back over to the Santa Rosa Police.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Police have supended the search for a 47-year-old Santa Rosa woman Sunshine Borjas missing since Wednesday after hiking at Bodega Head.
Borjas left her Santa Rosa home at about 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday for a hike on the Bodega Head trail, where she was believed to be alone.
Authorities found Borjas’s vehicle in the Bodega Head parking lot early Thursday morning.

Teams from the Sonoma County Sheriff Department search and rescue unit, the U.S. Coast Guard, and volunteers searched the Bodega Head by helicopter, planes, boats, drone, and search dogs.
Search efforts were suspended Sunday, according to the sheriff's office.

Borjas is 47 years old, about 5'5 tall, and weighs about 155 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.
Borjas was wearing a grey shirt, grey leggings, and black sneakers when she was last seen Wednesday.
Bodega Head is a 4-mile-long peninsula that lies just south of the Bodega Dunes and north of Bodega Harbor with cliff views from several coastline trails.
