Reward Offered For Fugitive Sonoma County Hells Angel: FBI

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — The FBI San Francisco Division, Santa Rosa Police Department, California Highway Patrol and the Sonoma County Sherriff’s Office asked for the public's help Tuesday in locating a Windsor man and suspected member of the Hells Angel Sonoma County chapter. Russell "J.R." Allen Lyles, Jr. was among 11 people indicted Oct. 10 by a federal grand jury for their alleged involvement in a Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Conspiracy.

The Sonoma County Alliance is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to Lyles' arrest and conviction, authorities said Tuesday.

Lyles has been charged with alleged maiming in aid of racketeering and assault with a dangerous weapon in aid of racketeering.

The charges against Lyles, 36, and his alleged co-conspirators were unsealed Monday.

Although most of those charged have been arrested, Lyles remained at large Tuesday and is considered a dangerous and armed fugitive, authorities say.

According to the FBI, Lyles lives in and operates a business in Windsor. He also has a home in Healdsburg, authorities say. He has ties to and may be traveling in Lake, Mendocino and Sonoma counties, FBI officials say.

Lyles is white, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 185 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

Authorities ask anyone who has information on his whereabouts to contact the FBI San Francisco Division at 415-553-7400 or at tips.fbi.gov. Tips can remain anonymous and may also be submitted to the Santa Rosa Police Department by calling 707-528-5222.
