Store Robber Sought By Cloverdale Police

A robber with an orange bandana covering his face robbed a store at gunpoint, police said.

CLOVERDALE, CA — Cloverdale police are seeking a suspect who robbed a store at gunpoint on Monday night.

Officers responded at about 9:10 p.m. to the 600 block of North Cloverdale Boulevard, where a store employee said a male suspect entered, took out a firearm and demanded money, police said.

After receiving cash, the suspect fled north from the store and remains at large. He is described as a Hispanic male with a mole under his left eye and is about 6 feet tall and weighs about 250 pounds with light brown messy hair. He was last seen wearing a black-colored hooded sweatshirt with a tan 49ers logo, tan pants, and an orange bandana covering his face, police said.

A witness told police he saw the suspect, who had a brown pistol, get into the driver's seat of a white four-door sedan that drove away, according to police.
