U-Haul Driver ID'd In Fatal Highway 101 Crash Near Geyserville
California Highway Patrol suspects the driver was involved in a hit-and-run before being fatally struck by two cars on U.S. Highway 101.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office has identified a man who died when he was struck by two vehicles after his alleged involvement in a hit-and-run last week as Nathan Brown, 31, of Huber Heights, Ohio. Brown is believed to be the driver of a Ford U-Haul truck that struck the back of a 2017 Hyundai Accent on northbound U.S. Highway 101 south of Lytton Springs Road around 9:10 p.m. Tuesday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The U-Haul didn't stop at the collision site and continued further north near Geyserville before it pulled over, CHP Sgt. Allan Capurro said.
Brown, presumably the driver, got out of the U-Haul and he was struck in the right lane by a 2013 Honda Fit. Brown was thrown further north and was hit by a 2010 Toyota Camry, Capurro said. He died at the scene.
