Suspect Arrested In Deaths Of 2 Women In Walnut Creek
Police found the bodies of two women Thursday at about 11:45 p.m. in the 100 block of Kelobra Court in Walnut Creek.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the Thursday nights deaths of two women in Walnut Creek.
The Walnut Creek Police Department arrested Howard Wang, 43, of Walnut Creek.
Police responding to a 911 call found the two women Thursday at about 11:45 p.m. in the 100 block of Kelobra Court.

Both women knew Wang, police said.
Walnut Creek Police Lt. Scott Moorhouse told ABC7 that one adult and two young children were present when officers arrived. They were taken into the custody of authorities.

"I wanted to share for our residents, there is no threat," Lt. Moorhouse told ABC7. "I know it's concerning to see a police presence in a nice, quiet neighborhood like in Walnut Creek, but please be assured to my friends in the community, you're safe, your Walnut Creek Police Department is thoroughly investigating this matter and we'll work diligently to resolve this case."
Wang is being held without bail at the Martinez Detention Facility.
Police are still investigating the shooting.
The Concord Police Department and the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office helped in the investigation.
