Worker Rescued By Helicopter In Remote Sonoma County
The person became incapacitated while working in rugged, heavily wooded terrain, police said.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A worker suffering heat-related illness in a remote area of Sonoma County was rescued recently by a helicopter, according to authorities.
The incident happened Thursday afternoon, when the person became incapacitated while working in rugged, heavily wooded terrain near Palmer Creek Road, west of Dry Creek, police said.
A Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office helicopter responded to the scene and conducted the rescue using a 200-foot line, according to the agency, which reported the person was taken to a waiting ambulance for medical care.
